Allan gray scholarship for grade 8 2023 – Allan gray scholarship 2023; Allan Gray Scholarship programme aims to produce a confident scholar with entrepreneurial thinking, unlocked potential, leadership qualities, a desire to create value, ability to solve problems, an aspiration and intention to be a Fellow, an understanding of the culture of community and collaboration, and a positive attitude. The Scholarship Programme is designed to equip the youth with an entrepreneurial mindset to enable future generations to redress the inequalities of the past and to continue the economic and social transformation of Southern Africa.

Requirements for Allan Gray Scholarship for Grade 8
Our Scholarship Programme targets financially constrained Grade 6 learners who have significant entrepreneurial potential. Their 70% overall academic average allows them to apply for the opportunity to be placed in a quality South African High School environment for learning and growth. Their potential is nurtured through a programme which combines classroom learning with online and peers learning, as well as one-on-one interventions and access to the Foundation Online Campus (OLC). Scholars are further supported through mentorship by a dedicated Programme Officer.
Ensure you meet the following requirements before applying:
- Scholarship Application Form 2022
- Completing Grade 6 in 2022
- Minimum average of 70%
- Minimum average of 70% for Mathematics and English
- Clearly demonstrate financial need (Household income must not exceed a monthly gross income of R20 000)
- South African citizen
- Candidates must not be older than 12 years of age and not younger than 11 years of age in grade 6
- Certified copies of ALL required documentation
- Active cellphone number for SMS notifications of application status

Allan gray scholarship for grade 8
The scholarship is open to students who are currently in Grade 6 (entering Grade 8 in 2024), who demonstrate significant entrepreneurial potential, strong academics and are in financial need.
